Ride Report posted for Jackson

Well, it turned out great!  We were privileged to welcome home LCPL Nathan Mullins.  He just returned from a deployment in Afghanistan.  We were honored to return to this family’s home, as we’d just been here in April to welcome home Nathan’s sister.  As it turns out, the entire family has served… Mom and Dad, too!

It was our privilege and honor to be able to Welcome Home LCPL Nathan Mullins.  Thank You, Nathan!

At first, we were wondering how the day would turn out… rain, then more rain and wind, and thunderstorms en route.  About 2 pm the weather cleared… awesome.  No rain.  (Of course, knowing the dedication of our WWR members, we knew that no measly rain was going to stop us anyway!)

We met at the Firehouse in Poplar Grove.  One member rode 90 miles one way, rain included.  Wow.  That’s an inspiration.

The family was there for a BBQ, and we showed up to surprise Nathan.  What an honorable and truly appreciative Marine!

All in all, it turned out great.  The local news Channel 13 WREX showed up, and did a great, positive interview!

 Thanks Nathan!
