Ride Report posted for Woody

Airman 1st Class, Michael Harrold, was welcomed home on Sunday, February 13th, in rock star style.  Members of Warrior’s Watch Riders formed a long flag line outside of the Brick IHOP on Route 88, where Michael and family enjoyed a free breakfast, compliments of the IHOP Manager, who personally thanked Michael and his family for their sacrifices for our country.   Michael was shocked to learn that all the bikers outside holding flags, as well as the Laurelton Fire Department fire truck, which was proudly flying the American flag, were all there for him.  Michael was returning from a tour of duty at Forward Operating Base Spin Boldak located in Southern Afghanistan, three miles from the Pakistan Border, for which he was awarded the Air Force Joint Commendation Medal, as well as an ISAF Medal.  With police escorts from Brick and Point Pleasant Beach, the thunder roared as over 50 flag waving motorcycles escorted our hero to his surprise welcome home party at the VFW Post 4715 in Point Pleasant Beach.  Over 200 friends and family gathered to see him, along with members of the local fire and police departments, members of Warrior’s Watch Riders, A Hero’s Welcome, the Yellow Ribbon Club, Sinister Steel Motorcycle Association, Camden County Hog, Nam Knights, and many more.

It was an honor to meet you Michael!  Thank you for everything you do. WELCOME HOME!
