This morning, at Sim’s Veteran’s Home, 12 members participated in the WWII veteran’s medallion ceremony. Some were on bikes, some were on trikes and others were in cages. 66 WWII veterans were honored at the ceremony. The first part of the ceremony, we stood a flag line around everyone. Then as the veterans were being honored, we moved to the inside and set up two flag lines, so the veterans would walk through us to get back to their rooms. By then, some of the members that attended the Veteran’s Day parade showed up and became a part of the ceremony.

Today is a special day for me. I am so proud of all of our veterans and first responders!! And I am proud to be an American!!!
