Ride report posted for RC Glen DeVries.

It was an honor for the WWR to be asked to welcome home this American Hero, Captain Matthew Allen.  After serving 2 tours in Iraq, it was well deserved.

We gathered at the staging area, with about 30 bikes and a large number of LEO support.
As we proceeded to Matthews home, with sirens blairing and lights flashing, there were friends and neighbors lining the street to show their support for our hero.  When we arrived at the home, everyone was surprised at our entrance.  Thanks to the Villa Park Fire and Police departments, we did not come in quietly.  We found our hero and passed out hugs and well wishes to him. We presented Matthew with the honor coin and beads. The banner was signed and pictures were taken. There was one more round of thank yous and we were on our way.

Thank you to the Villa Park Fire and Police Departments, Matthews family for inviting us to show our appreciation to this American Hero and to Matthew for volunteering to protect our freedom.
Well wishes and thank yous were passed around.
