Today in Mantua Township NJ – 13 MC’s, and a couple cages, Mantua FD, and Mantua PD snuck up our Hero Greg Gablin while he was enjoying a welcome home party in his Honor with family and friends. Little did he know WWR was crashing the party. We rallied at Clancy’s Pub  in Sewell NJ, held the ride briefing, and then we left to crash the party WWI style. Led by a Mantua Twp FD fire truck, Mantua Twp PD motorcycle unit, followed by roar of the WWR V twin engines, and sandwiched in between 3 police cruisers , all with lights and sirens, I think we got the neighbors attention. We pulled up out front and Greg was already out in the front of the house. (I think he heard us coming).  We honored Greg with a magic coin and then Greg got some WWR mugs and hugs. BUT WAIT THERES MORE…It just so happens there were a few other Hero’s on hand today. Greg’s father Paul, is retired USAF, after 23 years as a Lt Col. Flew KC-135’s, and served in Desert Shield, Desert Storm, Bosnia, Afghanistan, and Iraq. BUT WAIT THERES MORE… Greg’s Grandfather, Peristere “Bill”, also served in the Army Air Corps during WWII. BUT WAIT THREES MORE…Greg’s Uncle Frank served in the Korean War. Unfortunately we could not thank Uncle Frank in person as he was not their. There were other members of Greg’s USAF unit on hand and we gave them all big “Thank you” for their service. It was our honor to be able to thank three generations Gablin’s along the other members of the armed forces that were present.
