The escort for PFC Block is one of four missions today, with Bennie being the first.  We staged early at Callaghan’s Mortuary with our final destination being San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery, which is approx. 80 miles away in one direction.  This mission started at 11am with services starting at 1300 hrs.  There weren’t very many family members in attendance so we stood a flag line as Bennie was brought out and placed in his coach.  Most of the riders were going to be busy with other missions, so this mission ended up with myself and Axel escorting.  We arrived at the cemetery at approx. 1230 hrs. where we parked and staged, and met the family & socialized for about 20 minutes.  Our mission was short today due to having other missions coming up within hours.  We said our goodbyes to the family and headed back home.  Farewell brother, farewell.
