Ride Report posted for Neil

On saturday 10/3 we welcomed home MP hibicuc Rico home on a two week leave from afganastan.  We met up in the parking lot of the movie theater off of RT. 25 in carpentersville, IL and rode to Hibicuc Rico’s home.  We had about 20 bikes, 8 cages, police, fire, and even an ambulace on site.  There was also a cage of Hibicuc’s friends that wanted to ride with us to honor their friend. The police gave us road blocks at every intersection with 5 units at every intersection keeping all of us safe.

We rode to the house without any problems making sure we would be noticed.  LOL.  We arived at the house to have Hibicuc outside with his family.  Hibicuc was surprised and Mrs. Rico was in tears.  There were lots of hugs and lots of tears.  The emotions ran through all.  Hibicuc was presented with mission beads, a challenge coin, and a printout of all the shout outs up to that morning.  I am sure it was a day that no one will ever forget.

I would like to put out a special thanks to the carpentersville police, fire, and rescue for all of their help well above and beyond the call of duty making sure we were all safe and supporting our efforts.

Pictures will be posted soon from one of our own at http://warriorswatch.shutterfly.com/

Thanks to all those who supported me on my first RC ride.  I am deeply grateful and will never forget that day.
