THE WEEKLY NEWSLETTER OF THE WARRIORS' WATCH RIDERS

As Spring approaches, our ride calendars are filling up fast. For the bikers, there will be fun rides, support rides, bike shows and rallies. DON'T FORGET OUR WARRIORS when planning your Spring and Summer activities. Many of our Welcome Home escorts are short notice, as you know, and that requires a degree of flexibility on our parts. Our work as Troop Support volunteers is vitally important. We are educating the nation with our activities, bringing attention to the love, honor and respect that we have for our troops, their families, our first responders and our veterans. In terms of how the public views our warriors, we are CHANGING THE CULTURE - ONE SOLDER AT A TIME.

 COMING UP!

The bike show in the Chicago area was a tremendous success, as we reported in a past newsletter. Over 200 new WWR members were signed up on the spot! Now we have a similar show coming up in Oaks, Pa. The Warriors' Watch Riders will be partnering up with the Freinds of the Forgotten, interfacing with the biking public and letting them know who we are and what we do. THANK YOU, Friends of the Forgotten, for your partnership with WWR! Here is the link to the Sanctioned Events mission forum:

SPREADING THE WORD!

The Warriors' Watch Riders will be featured in an article in the April Issue of East Coast Biker Magazine. For those of you outside of the distribution area, the magazine is available on-line in the same form that you see in print, at this link:

  WWR STORE

For the first time since the inception of the WWR "Store," every item that we offer is now in stock all at the same time. 11-inch WWR back patches, 4-inch vest patches, 2-inch Beret Flash patches, flag covers, WWR Honor Coins, American Colors WWR Embroidered hats, WWR embroiderd biker-style do-rags, pins - everything. There are also several items that come directly to you from the supplier, via arrangements between those suppliers and the WWR to offer you individual items at bulk prices. Windshield banners, embroidered shirts, coin holder bezels, nametag patches, WWR Flags and banners, and more!

All of this is available at the WWR store at this link.

Remember, no one makes any profit from the WWR store. We charge only enough to purchase the items in bulk from the manufacturers and pay for shipping and shipping materials and supplies and PayPal fees. The purpose of the WWR store is to provide you with a source of items with which to proudly display your affiliation with the Warriors' Watch Riders, not to make a profit. The WWR has no money of its own, we do NO fundraising and we do NOT accept donations. We proudly do what we do on our own time and at our own expense.

*This newsletter is named "The Weekly Ride" or "The Ride", for short, in memory of and to honor Sgt. Jennifer Hartman, U.S. Army. Sgt. Hartman was killed in Iraq by America's enemies. She died in defense of our freedom at the age of 20. This quote from Jennifer was read at her graveside:

"It's not about what happened in the past. It's not about what might happen in the future. It's about the ride, for Christ's sake."
