Robert Ford, US Army
Robert & (wife)Nancy are parents of one of our own WWR members Kelli Mopargyrl Clarkson. Robert and his wife joined WWR on our missions, riding shotgun with Mopargyrl Roberts wife said he loved being a part of our missions. Robert C. Ford, Sr. of Levittown, died on Friday, July 15, 2022 at Wyncote Place in Wyncote, PA. He was 93. Born in Philadelphia and having lived in the Feltonville section of the city, Mr. Ford has been a resident of Bristol and Middletown townships for the past 50 years. Mr. Ford was a veteran of the Korean War, having honorably served his country in both the Merchant Marines and the Army. He is a lifetime member of Tershon VFW. He was a member of Queen of the Universe Church in Levittown.
Specializing in the architectural field, Mr. Ford was the Director of Construction with C.U.H. 2 A, formerly located in Princeton, NJ. He retired after working there for 26 years.
He loved to fish, especially deep sea fishing. Robert loved to travel. He traveled all over the world and crossed our country multiple times. His favorite pastimes were going to the casino and watching the grandchildren and great grandchildren swim in the pool.
Preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Ford and son, Robert Jr., Robert was the beloved husband of Nancy (Clarkson) Ford and the father of Carol Ford, Debra O'Brien, Joanne Ford and Tina Vine.
He will also be sadly missed by his sister Shirley Griffenberg; 6 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; Nancy's children, Kelli Eberle, John Clarkson and Steven Clarkson and her 4 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
