The Patriot Guard has invited WWR to attend the Honor Mission of Tony Ray Diller USN Retired.


Tony Ray Diller, 62, of Poplar Grove, passed away August 11, 2020.

He was born May 31, 1958, the son of Paul Peter and Lois Edith (nee Sutton) Diller.

Tony was a proud veteran of the United States Navy and beloved member of the VFW and Warrior Watch Riders. He was dedicated to working with the Boy Scouts, loved camping, working with computers, and riding his motorcycle.

In addition to his wife of 38 years, Jayne, he is survived by his son, Anthony Ray Diller and daughter, Lisa (Brian) Mansfield; his granddaughters, Nova-Lee Diller and Julia Mansfield; his siblings, Ron (Chris) Diller and Diana (Nat) Jackson; and his mother, Lois Diller.

He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Peter Diller.

McHenry is a long way from ALNC, for those not wanting to travel that far, there will be a second staging location.

Remains will be transported by his son on his dad's motorcycle. No funeral home involvement.

BURIAL SERVICE ALNC:
2:30pm

McHenry PD will assist at VMP. State PD, if not dispatched to other duties, will meet us at IL Route 120 and Illinois 53 for lead to I-80. Will County Sheriff will continue with escort to cemetery.
COVID-19 protocols and social distancing will be followed. Road Blocking will not be permitted unless directed by law enforcement.

Deepest condolences from me and mine to you and yours. Tony not only served his country, but raised two warriors and continued to support all those who put their lives on the line for us his entire life.

I can almost picture your welcome to Region 7 with our friends who have gone on before us.
