We have been asked to stand a flag line at the Church service of WW2 Veteran PFC Joseph Boschetti USMC. Our hero's remains have finally been identified after being killed in action on November 20th, 1943. After the church service, we are then requested to provide an escort to his final resting place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery where he will be buried with full military honors. Philadelphia Police will be with the escort.

RALLY: 8:30 AM ( Flag Line in place by 9:AM )

LOCATION: St. John the Baptist Church 146 Rector St. 19127

ROAD CAPTAIN: Available

Late notice: A rally point at the VFW at 376 Lyceum ave, will escort a Bus with Veterans to the Church, you can rally there at 845 am...

This gentleman was killed and buried in a makeshift grave with other servicemen before a lot of us were born. There was a wonderful turnout including many Marines; in fact the last two songs at the funeral were "God Bless America" and the Marine Corp Hymn. It was very nice to have the American Legion Riders and Blue Comet Motorcycle Club members standing the flag line with us and riding as escort along with the great Philadelphia Police. His two (2) surviving sisters (92 & 97) were very gracious and appreciative of all who attended to honor their brother.
