SEPA 6/15 Bridge Dedication MIA US ARMY

WWR has been asked to hold a flag line during the Bridge Commission Ceremony honoring a Bucks County resident who gave his life many years ago.

Clifford Dale VanArtsdalen served as an Indirect Fire Infantryman with D Company, 1st Battalion, 20th Infantry Regiment, 11th Infantry Brigade in the Quang Tin Province (I Corps area) in South Vietnam. He lost his life while engaged with enemy forces on May 9, 1968. He was still just 18 years old. Listed as MIA, presumed dead.

Rally time: 9:30 am
Parking: Water Wheel Tavern parking lot (approach from the south side of Old Easton Road). Road closures will be in effect after 9:00 AM

The bridge dedication was well-attended. There were family members, Veterans, community residents and politicians. One of our members took this beautiful day to ride and stand in honor of Clifford VanArtsdalen who lost his life before it even began; he was 18 when he was killed.
