We Welcome all riders to come out and join us and surprise MSgt. Trisha Cruz with a surprise welcome home. She is under the impression that she is only going to her son's school to discuss the meaning of Memorial Day with the students. However, that is only part of it as friends, family and the students of Van Zant Elementary school along with Operation Yellow Ribbon and the Warriors' Watch Riders will be surprising our Hero with a welcome home celebration.
Please come out to thank and welcome home USAF Master Sergeant Trisha Cruz as she thinks she is simply visiting the school to talk to the students about her service and Memorial Day:
USAF Master Sergeant Trisha Cruz joined the USAF in Guam in 2009 as an Airfield Management Apprentice.
From 2009 through 2013, she was at the Kadena Air Base in Okinawa, Japan.
She left Okinawa for Whiteman AFB Missouri and was there from 2013-2014.
In 2014, she moved to Fairchild AFB in WA where she had her son Michael was born (December of 2014).
In June of 2015, she deployed to Al Jaber Air Base in Kuwait for 6 months.
When she returned to the US, she was stationed at Fairchild AFB until January of 2017 when she went to Incirlik Air Base, Turkey for about a year and a half.
After Turkey she returned to Guam and stayed there from 2018 to 2021.
In 2021, she moved to NJ to be stationed at McGuire AFB where she currently serves as a Master Sergeant and Director of Staff for the 521st Contingency Response Squadron.
She was deployed to Kuwait again at the end of 2021 through May of 2022 and recently was stationed in Germany in October of 2023.
Our SHE-ro simply thinks she is going to speak to the students of Van Zant Elementary School for Memorial Day about her career and service to our country, but the surprise is on her!
