Our dear friends, Gold Star Family Esther, Len, and Beverly Wolfer have requested our assistance for the 11th Annual MSAWI-“Support our Troops Day”, which will be held at Congregation Romath Orah in New York City on Sunday May 3rd.

This will be our 9th year participating! Many of you have done this mission in the past and you know how valuable our help is in packing the boxes for our troops. Last year we did about 1500 boxes. It is an uplifting experience knowing your efforts are directly helping our deployed service members.

If you haven't made this mission in the past, you might want to join us for a nice ride and a day of camaraderie. Rally points and times will be set up so we can all meet and ride into Manhattan together. Fortunately it has worked out well every year and we have been able to stay together as a group all the way to the destination.

New York Police will block the street so we can park right outside the building. Please post below so we can get a head count of those who will be joining in this important event.

Secondary Rally Point: Olive Garden Parking Lot Rockaway Mall, Rockaway
Rally Time: 10:00
KSU: 10:15

Arrive Vince Lombardi rest stop NJ Turnpike at 11:15am, meet up with ECPA and NEPA.
11:35 ride brief, 11:45 KSU to our destination, arriving at 12:15pm 550W 110th St. NYC ABOUT MSAWI
On April 6, 2008 Major Stuart Adam Wolfer was killed in the Green Zone, Baghdad, Iraq. The Wolfer family will not allow Stuart’s voice to be silenced. The Major Stuart Adam Wolfer Institute (MSAWI) was established so that his legacy of leadership, commitment to his country and community service will continue to live on and to inspire future generations of children, adults and leaders.

The Institute is committed to supporting U.S. troops stationed overseas and domestically. The Institute seeks to directly involve the community in its mission so that those of us at home give of our most precious resource, our time.

The Institute seeks to increase awareness of the sacrifices our service people make on our behalf each and every day through educational programs at schools, communities and religious institutions.
