Staff Sergeant David A. Johnson, Jr is a member of the Illinois National Guard. He was injured during his deployment to Iraq and Kuwait and his family is anxiously awaiting his return.

David was born in Waukegan, IL and attended Waukegan High School where he participated in JROTC. He played multiple sports including volleyball and basketball.

David has served in the Illinois National Guard for 16 years and just re-enlisted while in Kuwait. He plans on spending lots of time with his family when he comes home.

As soon as we get word from his wife, Ashley, we will post the exact date.
