Jen Blazejewski is the proud mother of Josh Blazejewski. Josh is a Father Judge Graduate who left 12 June to go to Fort Jackson Future Soldier Preparatory Program. He shipped to Fort Moore in August and completed basic training 13 October. He is able to come home for Holiday Block Leave on 17 December - 04 January. Josh is a very active member at the American Legion 821 and has been since he was 4/5 years old. He is a Marshall for the Bridesburg Memorial Day Parade and has been marching with the veterans since 4/5 years old. When he was 9, Josh joined the Navy Sea Cadets (San Antonio Division then Mason Division) and worked his way up to Petty Officer 1st Class and has, many times, welcomed veterans' home in the past. For his time spent in cadets, he was awarded time spent in his contract entering basic training as a Private First Class. I wanted to see if we can in return do this for him. (you can google his name and see some pics as he was growing up doing these things).

Unfortunately, weather kept the bikes home and made it a bit unsafe to try to escort/stay together from the airport to the family's home. However, there was a nice showing of us, a couple airport employees joined in and another family did their own welcome. Once Josh made it through the gauntlet of us on the stairs, and we acknowledge three (3) other young military men, we gathered around Josh and presented him with beads, a star, a coin and quite a few hugs.

Enjoy your time together and we look forward to hearing of Josh's safe return from deployment.
