SEPA 11/9 Veterans Day Ceremony at Maple Point MS

Warriors' Watch has been asked to return to help the young minds celebrate and understand the meaning behind Veteran's Day. We humbly accept their offer.

In the past, the Warrior’s Watch has graciously attended our ceremony to help honor local veterans and I would like to extend that invitation again this year. Here is the information about the ceremony:

Maple Point Auditorium – Langhorne-Yardley Road, Langhorne, PA.

Ceremony includes: Readings from students, Keynote speaker, Other comments from Administration and Community leaders, Roll Call of Veterans, Picture around the American Flag

Thanks for your help in extending this invitation to the members of the Warrior’s Watch. I do realize that other responsibilities take precedence over others, but we would love to have them attend once again.
Thanks for your help with this matter.
Respectfully,
Mrs. Carol A. Foley

The school did a wonderful job acknowledging the Veterans. Students were dressed appropriately and all appeared to be paying attention, with the exception of two, but that's a real win in my book and testimony to the teachers and their teaching!

The name of each registered Veteran was read, branch of service and other patriotic songs were sung, there were some short speeches from a few people (including the School's resource officer who got rousing applause), and Taps was played! All then went outside for a huge group picture; they stood around a huge American flag, which was painted on the hill, and in front of one hung from a local fire engine.

Great job Maple Point Middle School!!!!
