SEPA 9/17 Welcome Home John Burke US Navy

Warriors' Watch has been invited by Scouter's wife to "Welcome Home" her step-father at his 85th birthday party.

John Burke doesn't talk much about his time in the military, but the pride of his service shows in the worn USN baseball cap he wears all day - every day. We know that he was in the Navy, but that's about all. We are going to Chickie and Pete's on the 11000 block of Roosevelt Boulevard around 2pm and show him what we are all about...making him know that we appreciate his service.

This will be the 2nd of 2 events scheduled for the day.

Rally Point: Wawa, 7001 Roosevelt Boulevard, Philadelphia
Rally Time: After DennyJ's MugnHug
KSU: 2:00 pm

RC: Scouter

Friends, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for rolling in and celebrating the service of my father-in-law today.

After you left, I was told that he had the chills when Rooney2n was doing his bead presentation. My mother-in-law saw the bikes coming into the parking lot, but had no idea who you were until you rounded the corner. She thanks you for acknowledging her service to the City of Philly. My bother-in-law also thanks you too.

It was nice being on the other side. It was nice hearing the good things said after you left. It was good to see an 85 year old man smile.

Thank You All for coming out.
