Warriors' Watch was pleased to be part of the Dignified Transfer of this hero. We are now being asked to stand a flag line and escort this hero to Washington's Crossing.

Major Stephen Khou, a distinguished member of the United States Air Force, passed away unexpectedly on May 24, 2023 at the age of 36. Major Khou was deployed to Kuwait in support of Operation Inherent Resolve, honorably serving his nation when fate called him away.

Major Khou was born in Philadelphia, PA. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the University of Pennsylvania in 2009, then commissioned through the Air Force Officer Training School in 2012. He developed his career in cyber warfare while simultaneously earning his master’s degrees in engineering at UCLA in 2016 and cyber operations at the Air Force Institute of Technology in 2017.

Major Khou was a member of the 32nd Weapons Squadron, stationed at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada. In this position, he was charged with executing a dual role as an instructor and Assistant Director of Operation for Defensive Cyber Operations. Through his intellect and dedication, he played an instrumental role in shaping the minds and tactics of future cyber weapons officers.

This sad event was attended by many family, friends and Air Force officers. There were license plates from many states. We hope the family finds comfort in knowing how many people cared for and respected their son/brother.
