The American Legion Riders Post 263 of Philadelphia PA. (along with WWR) were asked to come visit the Delaware Valley Veterans Home. Our group is small and we are asking other organizations to support us.The purpose of this mission is to visit the Veterans and mingle with them. They enjoy seeing the bikes and talking with us and knowing that we care about them. The Veterans will be sitting outside waiting for us to drive by and to talk with the with the riders. We will be there for 1 hr or so. The Veterans love it and it brings a smile to there face knowing that we care. Date of Mission Jun 16, 2023 Time of Mission 12:30 PM Location: We are meeting at the Wawa on Krewstown Rd. And Grant Ave. Philadelphia PA. KSU at 12:45 pm to the Delaware Valley Veterans Home ***THIS IS A SANCTIONED MISSION*** |
