We have been contacted by Givnish Funeral Home at the request of the family for King E. Mcdonald III Retired US Army Chief Warrant Officer.

We were asked to stand a flag line and escort to WCNC. Once we are at WCNC, we will stand a flag line there as well.

Date of Mission: 4/10/23
Rally Time: 12:45pm
Location: Givnish Funeral Home 10975 Academy Road Philadelphia, PA 19154
flag line in place by 1:15 followed by an escort to WCNC.
WCNC appointment time is 2:30pm

King E. “ Mackie” McDonald III, age 75 of Philadelphia, PA, passed away suddenly on March 28, 2023, at his home; Philadelphia, PA.

He was born in Tacoma, Washington, and grew up in Philadelphia. He was a Retired Army Chief Warrant Officer 3, who proudly served his country for over 27 years working in helicopter units and served several tours overseas.

He enjoyed life. He liked swimming and travel. Most of all, He loved his family. He is greatly missed, but eternally remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.

Mackie was the Beloved Husband of Bernadette Juszczuk. He was the loving father of King IV, (Doris), John (Nicole), his step children Jennifer, Daniel, Louie, and Gabby. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren; Alexa, McKenzie, Kellen, Brook and Zach, his sister Kathleen (husband Paul) Oleski, his brother David (wife Maritza), his best friend Diesel. Many nieces and nephews, and by all who knew him.

Relatives and friends are invited to Mackie’s Life Celebration on Monday, April 10, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00p.m., followed by his Funeral Service at 12 noon at the John F. Givnish Funeral Home, 10975 Academy Road Philadelphia, PA 19154. Her Interment will be at the Washington Crossing National Cemetery 830 Highland Road Newtown, PA 18940. At the request of the family, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mackie’s name to the Disabled American Veterans National Service Office 5000 Wissahickon Ave Philadelphia, PA 19144
