Michael Domizio, “Weasel”, age 78, born on December 31, 1943, passed December 12, 2022 of Newtown Square, PA, formerly of Overbrook.

Michael was a graduate of St. Callistus grade school and St. Tommy More High School. He then went on to serve as a Sgt. in the US Army from 1965 – 1967 during the Vietnam Era.

Michael was a Philadelphia firefighter and EMT for 22 years. After retiring from the Philadelphia Fire Department he worked for the Philadelphia Housing Authority for over 10 years.

In his retirement, he was actively involved in Honor Flight Philadelphia. He was also a parishioner of St. Anastasia. Michael was an avid walker, a loyal fan of all Philadelphia sports teams and a horse racing enthusiast.

Memorial Donations in Michael’s memory may be made to Honor Flight Philadelphia via PO Box 003, Broomall, PA 19008
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 19th 2022 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the . A mass will be held on Monday, December 19th 2022 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Rally Time: 9:00 am

It was a sad surprise to find this was Cathy's husband. Anyone who's been involved with Honor Flight knows Cathy as being in charge and handling everything so well, especially the days of; she's the first to arrive and last to leave. Karen and I were honored to stand for him and bring a bit of comfort to her.
