Margaret B. Flemming June 27, 1923 - November 20, 2022
(nee Schmitt) of Paulsboro, NJ passed away peacefully on November 20, 2022 surrounded by her loving family who faithfully cared for her, age 99yrs. Beloved wife of the late John E. Devoted mother of Eileen (Ed) Kier, Evelyn (late William) Fox, Robert (Catherine) Sweeney, Michael (Lysa) Flemming, and Barry (Paige) Flemming. Dear sister of Katherine Walsh and Ann Schneider. Loving grandmother of Maureen, Scott, Colleen, Mark, Leigha, Eddie III, and the late Jessica. Great-grandmother of 10. Margaret proudly served her country in the U.S. Army Airforce during World War II. She retired from the Paulsboro Post Office after 22 years of service. Margaret, along with her late husband, was an active member of the Good Times Seniors as well as the former St. John’s Church. She enjoyed traveling, roller skating, camping, and crossword puzzles. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Wednesday morning, November 30, 2022 from 10am at St. Clare of Assisi Parish, St. Michael’s Church, Memorial Ave, Gibbstown, NJ, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Gloucester County Veteran’s Cemetery, Williamstown, NJ.
