WWII U.S. Army PFC Duane Stevenson and his family will be celebrating his 99th birthday. His daughter has requested the Patriot Guard’s participation in the parade. Mr. Stevenson was a Combat Engineer in the army and served in the Pacific Theater. He has been a member of his local VFW since 1943. His father signed him up when he entered the army. He is the oldest living member of VFW Post #342 in St. Charles. He still lives at home and just passed his driver’s test! Let’s give this member of the greatest generation a memorable birthday celebration.
