Lake County Honor Flight is sending 24 Korean and Vietnam War vets to Washington, DC to view their memorials. Our plan is to escort these heroes from General Mitchell Airport in Milwaukee to North Chicago for their welcoming ceremony. ALL ARE WELCOME - 2, 3 OR 4 WHEELS WHEN: Sunday, August 21, 2022 6:00 PM WHERE: General Mitchell Airport, 5300 S Howell Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53207 Milwaukee County PD will direct you to special parking just north of the main terminal building (across from International Arrivals). We will gather at the curb outside the Southwest terminal. RIDE BRIEF: 6:30 PM DEPARTURE: Approx 7:00 PM.
