Shaun K. Spotts was an Aircraft Structural Mechanic in the Air Force at 305th Air Mobility Wing, Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey. Over his 22 year career as an sheet metal mechanic he enthusiastically embraced challenges, leaving fellow airmen and places in a better state has been an integral focus in Shaun's service. He entered the Air Force in February 2000 from Honolulu, HI. After completion of aircraft structural maintenance school in Aug 2000 he has held a variety of maintenance positions to support maintenance productions and sortie generation. He has been awarded Meritorious Service Medal, Air and Space Commendation Medal with two oak leaf clusters, Air Force Good Conduct Medal with six oak leaf clusters, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Korean Defense Service Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, and Nuclear Deterrence Operations Service Medal with two oak leaf clusters. Shaun's hometown is Kailua, HI. He was raised in a blended family by Pamela Curren, Ronald Spotts, and Madison Spotts with his two brothers and two sisters. He is a graduate of Kailua High School. Shaun enjoys spending time with family, searching out the best cheesesteak and pizza in the Northeast, offroading, camping, microbreweries, and travel. |
