***HONOR MISSION*** Lonnie Lee Barton, Jr., 67 US Army, 1971-1976 Springfield, MO Wed 20 Jan 21 The family of US Army Veteran Lonnie Lee Barton, Jr., has honored the Warriors’ Watch Riders with a request for an escort from the Walnut Lawn Funeral Home to our hero’s final resting place at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, MO and there to stand a flag line where full military honors will be rendered. Hero Barton served in the US Army in motorized transportation from August 1971 until October 1976. His awards include the National Defense Service Medal. His service included 13 months in Germany.
