SEPA 3/20 SHORT NOTICE HONOR MISSION US NAVY

Warriors' Watch has been asked to attend this last minute mission.


With heavy hearts the family announces the peaceful passing of Guido Thomas “Lil Bull” Toro, 79 of Quakertown formerly of Philadelphia. Guido died peacefully on March 12th.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Elvira “Vera” (Barnabei) Toro. Born in Philadelphia, he was a career military individual retiring as an quality assurance specialist as a federal employee in Morristown, NJ. His other work history included 28 years with the national guard as a technician at the Willow Grove Air Base. Also one year at Lockheed Aircraft and as a welder for two years at the Budd Company.

He was a US Navy Veteran serving active duty from 1960 till 1964 then two years inactive duty. All total “Lil Bull” served 26 years military and 30 years as a civilian for the military. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and skiing. He attended St. Isidores Catholic church in Quakertown.

In addition to his loving wife he is survived by two loving daughters, a brother Enio “Tony” Toro of AZ and two sisters, three grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial services will be held on Friday March 20, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown PA 18951. Flag line needs to be in place before 1:00 pm.
