John was born in Lockport, IL and grew up in Tinley Park, graduating from Tinley Park High School.

After working for a couple years in factories and seeing his brother graduate from the Marines, John decided the next step to his life was to serve our country like his brother and great grandfathers have proudly done.

After his much deserved 10-day leave from boot camp, John will return to Camp Pendleton for about a month before being assigned to his MOS schoolhouse as a Fixed Wing Mechanic.
