We have been asked by a Family Member of US Army Vietnam Veteran Sidney Brooks to Honor him with a Flag Line at his graveside Services ONLY. He will be buried with full Military Honors at Our Lady of Grace Cemetery in Langhorne Pa.

** I am told the burial site will be on the north east side of the cemetery on the Rt1 side **

RALLY: 1215 RT1 Superhighway, Langhorne PA 19047

TIME: 11:30 AM Flag line in place when Procession arrives

Mr. Brooks Obituary:

Sidney George Brooks age 74 of Elkins Park, Pa died January 12, 2020. Sidney, a Native American, was born on The Cattaraugus Indian Reservation in New York. He served his country with Honor in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Sidney worked as an Iron Worker with Local 401 until his retirement. He took pride showing family members the structures that he helped to build.

In his spare time, he enjoyed his family and his grandchildren which supported his dedication for new treatments for cancer to extend his time with them. He was extremely grateful for the attention and care from the doctors and staff at Fox Chase Cancer Center, who became family to him according to his sons. He was also a sports fan and enjoyed the Yankees, Bills & Sabres.

Sidney is survived by Liz; their son William and his wife Susan Brooks, their children Shawn and the late Ryan Pauline Brooks; their son Michael Brooks and his wife Karen and their son Alexander. He is also survived by brother Donald Brooks and sister Jane Williams of Cattaraugus, NY and the late Mike Brooks and Jean McMullin.

Relatives & friends may call Friday at 10am from Richardson Funeral Home 7450 Oxford Ave. Services 11am. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Grace Cemetery in Penndel, PA.

In lieu of flowers family requests donations to be made to Fox Chase Cancer Center
