We have been requested to escort WW2 Veteran Walter J. Kolimaga from Trevose Pa. to His graveside Military service at Calvary Cemetery in Media Pa.


Military Service at Calvary Cemetery; Orange & Highland Ave., Media PA. Escort would be from Joseph Levine & Sons, 4737 E. Street Rd. Trevose Pa 19053

Here is a Bio on Mr Kolimaga:

On November 11, 1943 at the age of 18, Walt enlisted in the U.S. Army. He was trained as a rifleman and assigned to the 9th Division, 60th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Battalion. On December 16, 1945 Walt was discharged from the Army in Indiantown Gap, PA. He had participated in five major battles and campaigns; Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland, Ardennes, and Central Europe. He is 3x Purple Heart Medal Recipient, Combat Infantry Badge, Good Conduct Medal, European African Middle East Campaign Medal with 5-Bronze stars, American Campaign Medal, WWII Victory Medal, French Jubilee of Liberty Medal. He and his wife Lois Kolimaga have lived in Media for over 35 years. Walt is a member of American Legion Post 926 and VFW Post 3460, Media. Walt passed away in his home on Monday, October 21, 2019.
