Mr. Goudy served our country for 25 years here and overseas, only to succumb to injuries from a local auto accident; cause still unknown. Since motorcycles were a part of their life, Mrs. Goudy asked if she could ride to the cemetery; not sure if she thought anyone would let her, but Ed said sure. As we know, it is always our honor and privilege to provide this one last act of respect. We also know some have a more profound impact on us for a variety of reasons; this was one of them. The entire family was interactive, appreciative and some expressed humor amidst the tears. We wish them peace and pray for another family member still serving.
