Our hero just found out that his grand children are moving to Ky. in September, so the date of this mission has been changed to 8/17

WWR will do our famous Mug & Hug for US Army SSGT (E6) DeGroot and his family

This veteran works next door to my work.
I see him outside everyday having a cigarette. He wears his Vietnam Veteran hat and waves to me on the days I take my bike to work. One day he came over to the fence and said, can I ask you about Warriors Watch Riders. I told him what we do and what we were about. I gave him a star and my card.
He sent me this email. I not only want to honor his family, but him (again) as well with a coin and certificate.

Rick
i would like the riders to come to my house to honor my grandchildren for the loss of their mother. i served in the army from 1965 until 1979 including a tour in Vietnam. My daughter was the only child born after my nam tour and i believe it was agent orange that took her. She suffered for three years with different things including kidney failure, heart surgery, lung infections and bleeding on the brain. her children ages 23 14 12 and 6 have been through alot and i think that your group will bring some joy knowing that someone else cares. there were two things that she loved besides her family that was vets and steelers football.if you could arrange a ride on a sunday of your convience my family would be honored. please let me know in advance so i can make sure that they are here. we thank you all for your caring
