Warriors Watch has been asked to do the Memorial Day Event in Washington’s Crossing at the Soldiers graves in the park. This has been a great event for us every year, last year was cancelled because of rain. Let’s get out and do it again this year. They just love having us there.

Rally time: Sunday 5/26/19 10:45 am
Yardley Park and Ride 1140 Woodside Road Yardley PA 19067

KSU: 11:15 am This will give us time to get there and set up.

RC: Available

For those not familiar with this mission;
North of Washington Crossing is the Thompson Neely Farm.
On the property next to the Delaware River are gravesites of 21 Unknown Soldiers from our Revolutionary War.
Memorial Day ceremony takes place each year with WWR Flagline at the entryway, a marched entry into the site by period dressed Fife & Drum Corps, Color Guard, & Re-inactors in uniform.
The ceremony consists of Posting of the Colors, Benediction, and individual placing of a Flag at each gravestone, three volley Salute with Taps.
Each year, a couple of members of WWR have had the Honor of participating with placing of the gravestone Flags.
This is one mission you should experience at least once.
It is an Honor that WWR is asked to be part of this Memorial Day Ceremony.
Bring 3x5 American Flag.
Hope to see you there.
