We have received a request that is long overdue. We have been requested to stand flag line and escort Angelo to Washington Crossing Cemetery.

Information is as follows,
Angelo Michael Gabriele, age 21, of Trenton, NJ, was killed in action on Dec. 7, 1941 in the attack on Pearl Harbor, while serving in the U.S. Navy aboard the U.S.S West Virginia.

He was born in Trenton and attended Trenton High School. Son of the late Matteo and Maria (Migliaccio) Gabriele, he is survived by four nephews, Peter DiPietro of Ewing, NJ, Angelo Gabriele and Leonard Gabriele, both of Morrisville, PA, and Dennis Maffezzoli of Port St. Lucie, FL, a great nephew Michael Gabriele and two great nieces Lisa Goldschmidt and Susan Garhart.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions, in Angelo's name, be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.

Visitation: Monday, June 24, 2019 from 11:30-12:30 at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel where his funeral service will take place at 12:30 pm
Escort to Washington Crossing National Cemetery will follow the service where Military honors will take place at 2:00 pm

The Morrisville police chief requests motorcycles gather at Morrisville Presbyterian church across the street. FYI, several police departments will be there too, about 1 dozen.

Rally Point:
J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA 19067

Rally Time 11:00
RC: Open please contact or PM on here

Mr. Ullrich and his staff were wonderful and it was great to have some gentlemen from the American Legion stand and ride with us. Bensalem and Makefield motor officers et al gave us a safe escort and quite a few residents and Yardley police stood saluting or with their hands over their hearts as we went by. Mr. Gariele is finally at rest.
