Ride report posted for Country Mike

Wednesday we stood an Honor Mission for Linda Miller. We met at the Willow Grove Mall. I was met by Bobcat,my son GLenn and his friend John. We departed the Mall and headed over to the Glenside Methodist Church just before 12:00. We were greeted by Lindas brother Gary and he thanked us for being there and how much it meant to them. Calamity met us there and we stood with flags flying in the wind. People thanked us for being there as they entered and departed the Church. There were Politicians, Abington Police,PDs from nearby townships, neighbors and friends. There were many, as Linda was an Abington Police Officer and very much involved with the PAL Program, plus a resident in Glenside for 57 yrs. Although there were few of us there it was as important to the family that we were there. At 2:00 we ferruled our flags and departed.
I stayed for the Memorial Service. It was Packed. Inside the Church there was a Big screen up front on the wall with pictures of her life. There was a point in the service where people were asked to say a few words about Linda. Linda was portrayed as a very loving, caring, very funny person. One told a story of how there was a circus in town and how she coaxed some of the circus people to her house for a homecooked meal and a shower. Although a funny story told, a very caring one. Lindas family once again thanked us for standing in Honor for Linda.
Thanks to all who were able to attend this Honor Mission.
