Follow-up comment rss or Leave a TrackbackI applaud what you people do to honor the veteran and his/her service. I am a Vietnam Veteran who rides a motorcycle. I recently had a very bad experience with the Combat Veteran Motorcycle Association in R.I. (Chapter 9). I met every qualification to join, filled out an application, turned in my DD 214, gave my $20 dues but was denied membership because I would not let the State Rep and his BOD there Prospect me which the CVMA claims they do not do. I thought the days of passing judgement on Vietnam vets was over but with this State Rep’s attitude, I guess not. All I wanted to do was be a Veteran who helped veterans like the CVMA claims to be. I wondered why the RI CVMA did not have many VNam vets. Now I know why.
