AFTER RIDE REPORT:

We arrived at the staging location aroung 2:45 AM for our 3:00 staging.  Much to our surprise, there were already several bikes and cages waiting.  What a great way to start the day though many of us had not even slept yet and it was still dark out.

Matt’s family arrived and we thanked all of them, as well as several of his friends.  When Matt pulled up he thought he was just going to be saying goodbye to a few friends, he did not expect to see all of us there as well.  Thank you to the LEO support we received in Hoffman Estates as well.

We all hugged and cheered and thanked Matt for his service and for protecting our freedom.  Than it was KSU.

Matt was driving to Fort Bliss, and we escorted him on part of his journey.

With LEO support we escorted Matt on the initial stage of his journey.  LEO pulled off and we continued on a short distance until it was time for us to go our seperate ways.  We went East on the Highway and our Warrior proceeded West bound.  We sent Matt on his journey with some freshly baked chocolate chip cookies and a WWR Honor coin, lots of hugs and support, letting him know we will be here for his return.
