Final Ride Report for LT Adam Koziol, USN – Posted for Goldwing

There’s two things I love to do, take a long ride on a beautiful day & welcome home our soldiers. Today I got to do both.

A small group of us left Firebase 69 at 9 am & took a leisurely ride led by Grease to the Coventry Mall.  We arrived with Military precision as scheduled. The other riders began to arrive,  approximately 25 long time dedicated members as well as some very welcomed new members with hand shakes & hugs all around, every run is like a family gathering. Good to see Kel back up again.

Our state coordinator Grease & myself gave our ride briefing as to what to expect at our arrival at Martin Motor sports, plan was to leave the mall at 11:30, arrive at Martin’s before 12 & that we did. Our RG (road guide) Grease led us safely to our destination, upon arrival we were greeted by the Liberty Fire Company and the Valley Forge Chapter of the Star Motorcycle Club so we did some quick PR work & took our places & formed our flag line across the front of the building & awaited the arrival of our package, & arrive he did, promptly at 12 to the sights & sounds of a flag draped fire truck & police car at the entrance, Adam must have thought the place was on fire, but the only fire burning was in our hearts, burning with pride for the son of one of our members

Lt. Adam Koziol son of Warriors Watch member (Lukester).  As Adam exited the vehicle he was greeted by Grease & T presented Adam with a Warrior’s Watch coin & the rest of us all gathered around for hand shakes & thanked him for his service, then everyone gathered for a nice group photo, we stowed our flags, then proceeded inside for food & refreshments. In the end we had a total of 50 people to welcome Adam home.   I’d like to give a special thanks to Grease for his tour guide duties & support, “T” for supplying the coin, & especially to Luke, Adam, & his family for giving us the honor to take part in this special day.
